The design process can take several days, or it might be approved by you on the first pass. That is a big determiner. Once the design has been approved by you, we place the order into our print que. Once in que, it may take up to 72 hours to print/cure, cut (trim), hem and grommet (if a vinyl banner) your order. After those are complete, we box your order up and send it out UPS Ground, which takes approximately 3-5 business days anywhere in the continental United States.

The simple answer is No. We are sorry for this inconvenience, however, due to the time it takes to design something for print (banner, business cards, postcards) and the fact that we offer our design services 'free' with purchase of printing, we cannot design prior to purchase. We will, however, guarantee that we will work with you until you are happy with the design and won't go to print until you say so.

Yes, if they are of high enough quality to print without distortion. Images that are taken from online are 72 dpi (dots per inch) and do not make good print images. Print images for business cards and postcards should be 300 dpi and 200 dpi for vinyl banner images. We print everything at a minimum of 300 dpi, including our banners. Please do not hesitate to ask questions or send us your images for review, prior to your purchase. We are happy to help!

Yes, however, we do not accept responsibility for any errors in printing. We will certainly review a submitted design and advise if it will make a good print, or give suggestions on what needs to be done prior to printing with us. We also assume you have proofed your design and there are no misspelled words, etc... All designs for print should be created in CMYK.

We assume that you have secured the right to print any image you provide us. When we design, we use images that are 'open source' and available to everyone's use or images we have purchased the rights to use.

Graphic Designer and Printer speak for dots per inch (DPI) and cyan, magenta, yellow and black. CMYK is used for (four-color) printing, where as RGB (red, green and blue) is the color model used for computer and video viewing. Check out Wikipedia under CMYK for a great definition and visual explanation of the two color models.

Again, short answer, yes. However, there will be a shift in color between the RGB design and the final printed image. Sometimes this shift is slight, although a good eye can certainly tell the difference. Most people expect that something designed on their computer is going to print out exactly the same. Yeah... probably not. That's why you have Graphic Designers. ;-)

Unless you advise us not to use your piece for advertising or promotional purposes, then yes, we will most likely at some point use your design created and printed by bluehandMEDIA. Of course, who doesn't like a little FREE attention? Please message us or advise us in your order if you DO NOT wish to have us use your banner (or cards) used as an example of our ability to design and print quality.

All printing will be completed AFTER the purchaser has given their approval to a proof. As such, we do not offer returns on custom printed materials unless there is a defect in the printing or cutting of the cards. Please message us with any questions. Design is Free with Purchase, however, if you decide to cancel a purchase after we have designed a business card, banner or postcard, and we have documented conversations (either on eCrater or via email) where you have approved, made suggestions, etc... and we have accommodated those requests, we will not offer a refund.
